Collom®
Sanitizing and Coating System

Collom
Enterprises, Inc. introduces an improved solution to your
sanitizing and coating needs. our new patent pending system will
prove easier to use and is much more effective than existing
methods. The new Collom® Sanitizing and Coating System will:
 | Sanitize metal ductwork |
|
 | Coat fiberglass lined ductwork |
|
 | Apply coating to air handling units |
|
 | Coat ductboard |
|
Collom®
Sanitizing and Coating Nozzle - this nozzle combines the
Collom® Technology with a built-in spray nozzle. Compressed air is
used to send the nozzle through the ductwork on the same basis as
the existing Collom® Technology. The spray nozzle on the end is
used to deliver an even flow of material to the ductwork.
Collom®
Sanitizing and Coating Hose - this component of the
system is actually a hose within a hose. The outside hose is used to
deliver the compressed air to the Collom® nozzle and propel the
system through the ductwork. The inner hose is used to deliver the
sanitizing or coating material, which is applied to the ventilation
system through the spray nozzle.
Pneumatic
Pump - this pump is used for sanitizing and features:
 | Corrosion resistant interior that
will not react with chlorine and other materials |
|
 | Precision PSI and GPM to apply
sanitizing solution |
|
 | Runs on compressed air/requires only
20 CFM - 100PSI |
|
Airless
Pump - this pump is used for coating and features:
 | 1,000 PSI |
|
 | 1/2 HP |
|
 | .33 GPM |
|
 | Adjustable flow rates |
|
 | Precision PSI and GPM to apply
coating material |
|
Multiple
Control Valve - this controls flow rates for both the
compressed air and the fluid delivery system.
Benefits
of sanitizing and coating with the Collom® Sanitizing and Coating
System:
 |
Complete
coverage of metal ductwork with a minimum number of access
points This method is superior to traditional fogging methods
and offers a substantial labor saving vs. conventional airless
sprayer methods of sanitizing.
|
 |
Complete
coverage of coating materials in fiberglass lined ductwork and
ductboard. This method substantially reduces the number of
access points vs. conventional coating methods and allows the
operator greater flexibility in application when compared to
traditional coating methods. |
Meets
the following coating specifications:
 |
Covers any
debris that may be trapped below the surface of the fiberglass
after cleaning, masks the fiberglass material so that it will
not break apart from the system and move downstream.
|
 |
Retards
potential growth of microbial contaminants that may exist in the
fiberglass ductwork when coating material is treated with an
anti-microbial agent. |
